Troubleshooting Citrix WMI errors with Xenapp 6.0 MP

You may get WMI erros logged in agent Application log as source WSH and System center Log as detailed in the following URL

http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX122283

In my case I am still getting problems here as the rollup 5 for Xenapp 5.0 has been deployed. Additionlly the Citrix Run-As accoutn is set to the server in question. I am however getting access denied for object enumeration. I can see the error in the System Center Log on the agent of Event Source: Health Sertvice Modules and Event ID 10409. I can see the WMI query isL:

Query: ‘SELECT *FROM MetaFrame_Server WHERE ServerName=”<ServerName>”

So I guess this is basic WMI troubleshooting.

Run wmimgmt.msc and confirm that you can configure the service using properties. This should successfully connect and indicates basic WMI functionality. Once confimed run some test WMI queries using WBEMTEST
